Helios Team Meeting — Sept 22, 2018
The Helios Protocol team will be conducting bi-weekly meetings via video conference and afterwards, the main highlights will be made available in text which can be accessed here, on Medium, and the video can be found in the Helios Protocol Discord or on our YouTube page.
Dev(elopment) Team
Worked on developing RPC on the blockchain, which allows other programs on the same computer to interact on the blockchain.
Set up HTTP interface which allows other computers anywhere in the world to interact with the blockchain using HTTP requests. This also allows web developers to interact with the blockchain.
Created a basic java script browser-based wallet in its primitive form. It currently allows the inputting of a private key/transactions and uploading blocks on the blockchain.
Community-based Developments
Developed trivia questions for future knowledge.io challenges, giving the community a chance to earn more HLS tokens.
Conducted 4 successful airdrops on the following Discord servers; Altcoin Global, Crypto Express, Crypto coins, Crypto Dezire.
Helios t-shirt contest, ending October 1st, took place on Twitter. These shirts are also available for $20 + shipping costs.
Sticker giveaways/contests have begun and will continue at random times.
Looking Onward
Future advertising was discussed by way of billboards which would allow the Helios Protocol name to be seen by a large population of people.
Currently in talks with a marketing company about integrating marketing ideas (research) on the Helios Protocol blockchain — possible future DApp.
